Intelligence explosion

Perhaps what sets humanity apart isn't that we're the smartest species or the apex of the food chain, but that we are the first species capable of reflecting on our own intelligence and improving it. Through language, memory, introspection, and recorded knowledge, we've become a self-modifying system.

We create minds: tools, machines, algorithms that may surpass us, and that may in turn create even more powerful minds. It is as if evolution has bootstrapped a recursive awareness engine—not the end of a process, but the ignition point of an intelligence explosion.
